https://bodega695.com/product/petit-cantenac-st-emilion-grand-cru-2016-case/1192.0032936 x Petit Cantenac, St Emilion Grand Cru 2016A superb deep velvety red, almost black, with fresh and lush rich notes of black plums, cassis, raspberry, figs, and fine leather, with hints of ginger and spice and soft vanillin new oak. It is full-bodied with firm but carefully weighted tannins on the entry, which become more defined as the wine lingers in the mouth, with dense savoury and earthy characters leading towards a rounded, supple, blackberry and plum finish that displays good restraint and poise. It is drinking well now but will continue to develop nicely in the bottle.
"I really like this sweet black cherry wine with very soft tannins. A succulent, soft-edged crowd pleaser." 92 Points. Jane Anson, Decanter Magazine
