Santa Rita

Our History

Established in 1880, Santa Rita is one of Chile’s oldest wineries, with our history rooted at the heart of the Maipo Valley, where our main facilities are located in Alto Jahuel. Declared a historical monument of Chile in 1972, our heritage buildings include the manor house Casa Real with its 40-hectare park, the Paula Jaraquemada colonial house which is now the Doña Paula Restaurant and the oldest cellars of the country still in use which are home to a library of the best vintages of our top wines

Our Winery

With vineyards planted in the best winegrowing valleys of Chile, we are a key player in the Maipo Valley, one of the World’s most outstanding regions for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. Our WiSe (Wine & Seed) Project is a far-reaching innovation for replanting and safeguarding this noble grape variety for future generations.

We have a fully integrated and certified sustainability programme covering the entire wine production chain, with a special focus on social initiatives for workers, their families and communities.
